Surgery consultations are by appointment (except for GP morning Urgent Care Clinic available at Bow on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings). Please contact the receptionists on 01363 82333 to make an appointment with a Doctor, Nurse or Health Care Assistant.
The Urgent Care Clinic available at Bow on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings is for illness that requires same day medical attention. Please book in at reception by 10am, you will be asked for the medical reason for seeing a GP in the Urgent Care Clinic. We appreciate that at times patients may feel uncomfortable sharing the reason with the patient services team, we assure you that all of the practice team are bound by strict terms of confidentiality, this information is required to help the doctors to prioritise patients based on clinical need. There may be more than one GP working, all patients will either be seen in turn or based upon medical need, therefore we are not able to offer a choice of GP for the Urgent Care Clinic.
Telephone appointments are available to book with the GPs, please contact reception to book a telephone consultation. If, following a telephone consultation with the doctor, you require a same day appointment this will be made available to you.
When making appointments please note that all our doctors will have access to your records for consultation purposes and, although we respect your wish to see a specific doctor if you wish, your choice of appointments will be greatly enhanced if you are prepared to see whoever is available.
Ante-natal clinics are by appointment and can be booked directly with our midwife.
If you are unable to keep an appointment please let us know as soon as possible so that someone else can have the appointment.
If you need to speak to one of the doctors, please telephone after 11.00am.
Online Consultation service - e-Consult, enables you to access the practice 24 hours a day, seven days a week from your PC, tablet or mobile phone. It is a convenient and efficient, secure portal. E-Consult is a great way of seeking general advice, prescription queries, administration enquiries such as writing a letter or completing a form and we will respond to you within one working day.
