Consult your Healthcare Professional
GP and Paramedic Appointments
Whilst we remain in a pandemic, all patient enquiries are triaged in the first instance. Please submit an eConsult, the link to eConsult can be found on the home page of our website. If you do not have access to the internet the Patient Services Team can submit an eConsult on your behalf. EConsults can be submitted on your behalf by the Patient Services Team daily up until 10.30am.
A doctor or our paramedic will assess all eConsults based on clinical need. Following assessment you may be offered a telephone consultation or a face to face consultation with the health professional best placed to care for your healthcare needs, or we may be able to help you in other ways.
A limited number of pre-bookable telephone appointments are available with the GPs for ongoing care, please contact the Patient Services Team to book a telephone consultation.
Please note that all our doctors will have access to your records for consultation purposes and, although we respect your wish to speak with a specific doctor, your choice of telephone appointments will be greatly enhanced if you are prepared to speak with whoever is available.
Ante-natal clinics are by appointment and can be booked directly with our midwife.
Physiotherapy appointments are by telephone in the first instance.
Practice Nurse and Healthcare Assistant appointments are available to book daily for urgent healthcare needs, some services are currently unavailable due to the pandemic.
If you are unable to keep an appointment please let us know as soon as possible so that someone else can have the appointment.
Online Consultation service - e-Consult, enables you to access the practice from your PC, tablet or mobile phone. It is a convenient and efficient, secure portal. E-Consult is a great way of seeking general advice, prescription queries, administration enquiries such as writing a letter or completing a form and we will respond to you within two working days.
Please note eConsult is not to be used for ordering medication, please continue to order your medications via the NHS App, Patient Access App or via the Prescription tab on our website.
Home Visits and Emergency Calls
These are provided for the housebound and those who are genuinely too ill to be moved. Please telephone requests for visits before 11am on 01363 82333. Home visits are generally made between 1pm - 3pm daily.
When the Practice is closed, please call 111 when you need medical help fast but it's not a 999 emergency. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones. You should use the NHS 111 service if you urgently need medical help or advice but it's not a life-threatening situation. For immediate, life-threatening emergencies, continue to call 999.
