Dr Andrew Bower
MBBS, MRCGP, DCH, DFFP, DRCOG
Partner and GPI have been a GP for many years having qualified in London. I moved to Somerset in 2001 and joined the team at Bow in 2007.
I enjoy the many challenges that general practice in a rural community provide, but I have a particular interest in palliative care, cardiovascular disease and care of the elderly.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family. My interests include rugby, running and gardening.
Dr Susan Taheri
MB ChB(Hons) Manchester 1996, DRCOG, MRCGP, DFSRH, DTM&H
Partner and GPAlthough my surname is a little exotic (it's Persian), I was actually born and bred in the West Midlands and ended up moving to Devon in 1999 to train as a GP following medical school in Manchester and a year working in outback Australia.
Away from work, I live locally with my husband and our two dogs. My interests include gardening, cooking, travel and running to keep fit.

Partner and Practice ManagerI have worked within the field of management since 1997, starting my career with Lloyds Pharmacy. I moved into General Practice in 2004, joining the team at Bow in 2009. I really enjoy working within the healthcare community, providing support to patients, the practice team and our attached staff.
My duties outside of the practice include; Chair of the Pan Devon Practice Managers Forum and board member of Mid Devon Healthcare.
I constantly endeavour to balance my career and home life, which is challenging with two growing children. I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the theatre, listening to a wide range of music and reading.
