Branch Surgery at North Tawton, Devonshire House, Essington Road, North Tawton EX20 2EX
We provide a full range of NHS services, which we are contracted to provide under NHS England Devon, Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Area Team. These services include maternity, contraception, minor surgery and child health surveillance services.
Patients, including new patients joining the practice, will be offered consultations for a health check as part of our programme of health promotion.
Clinical Commissioning Group (Devon CCG), of which Bow Medical Practice is a member, is responsible for buying a range of community services on your behalf. It is important that services are commissioned which reflect the needs of the local community.
If you would like to email any member of Devon CCG staff please send your email to D-CCG.firstname.lastname@example.org stating the name of the person you wish to contact and your email will be forwarded for their attention, they will then reply to you as appropriate.
Alternatively, you can contact the CCG as follows:

In common with all UK general practices, your records are stored electronically in our computer system. Rigorous safeguards are employed to prevent unauthorised access to stored information and your rights are fully covered by the Data Protection Act 2018. NHS England has access to certain parts of the system in order to obtain data for audit and management purposes; however, this excludes access to any information which identifies any individual by name. The Freedom of Information Act 2000 allows you access to any records we hold about you.
We appreciate that in a rural community you may have family or friends who work at the practice; we have strict confidentiality policies which all staff work to and respect.
The surgery provides easy access for those with disabilities. There are disabled parking bays at the entrance and all toilets are equipped with disabled facilities. Please let the receptionist know if you have problems with sight or hearing so appropriate help can be provided.
Certain services are not provided by the NHS. You will be advised of the fees applicable when you request any services not covered by NHS regulations.
